Often, we hear the statement “The experience occurred when the person involved was really young, they must not even remember it any longer”.

However, interactions with adverse childhood experiences can shake a child’s sense of stability, security and bonding. The impact of trauma occurring in childhood can slide into our adult life and may even last a lifetime if we dont work to understand the root cause of it.

Often, when we are unable to understand a way out of it, we keep running on the hamster wheel that pulls us deeper into a spiral of negative mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

Yes, uncovering all that trauma is hard and scary. It does end up being messy at times too, but putting it off is like sitting on a volcano that can erupt anytime the pressure builds up too much or it interacts with a wrong trigger.
